A wonderful example of this professional model Selmer Alto clarinet. Very nice condition and plays perfectly with total ease. All the nickel-silver keywork responds well and all recently replaced leather pads seal perfectly. The quality of the wood is excellent, however, the wood does show a very slight surface crack at the top of the upper joint. The clarinet plays perfectly despite the surface crack. The instrument is priced accordingly.
Bell and crook are in great condition. Intonation is excellent in all registers.
A comprehensive overhaul with a full set of leather pads has recently been completed. All keywork polished. New springs, corks, and related items have been checked and replaced if necessary. No original case. Will be supplied in a new Reed and Squeak lightweight case with detachable backpack straps. No mouthpiece is included but this can be added by separate negotiation. This instrument can be played with a neck sling or a with the floor spike provided that has been recently added.
