Owned by one of the UK's busiest sax players, this fabulous Mark VI tenor Saxophone is in fantastic playing condition. All the leather pads with resonators seal perfectly and the instrument plays with a rich deep sound along with excellent intonation. The bell is engraved and generally the lacquer is showing at around 80%. Some wear with various surface scratches can be seen in the usual places but this only adds to the patina. Some pitting of the keys and pad guards can also be seen but in general, this is a fabulous example of one of the best saxophones ever built. Original case included, but the handle no longer functions. No mouthpiece.
Played professionally in London's West End shows and with various UK orchestras, TV and film sessions. This is a true players' instrument.
