435 Conn "New Wonder" Tenor Saxophone
This beautiful vintage Saxophone is a superb example of the Conn New Wonder tenor sax series, otherwise known as the Chu Berry.
All pads seal perfectly and the sax plays from top to bottom with very little effort. Recently serviced and in great condition.
Features include split bell keys, Rolled tone holes, smooth G sharp key and auxiliary F. This saxophone is Low pitch (A=440 Hz) and can easily be played in modern ensembles. It has an amazingly full, rich sound with good intonation.
The body has been polished up over the years but it is free from major dents and there is only a small amount of pitting showing. The neck has new cork and is in great shape with no pull-down. The original hard case is functional but does not offer great protection. No mouthpiece.
