This beautiful vintage Saxophone is a superb example of the Conn 12M Baritone sax series, otherwise known as the “Crossbar”
All the pads seal perfectly and the sax plays from top to bottom with very little effort. Recently serviced and is now in great playing condition.
This saxophone is Low pitch (A=440 Hz) and can easily be played in modern ensembles. It has an amazingly full, rich sound with good intonation.
The body has been de-lacquered over the years but it is free from major dents. There is one very small dent on the bell. The neck has new cork and is in great shape with no pull-down. No original case. Sold in a Reed and Squeak lightweight case. No mouthpiece.
