This beautiful vintage Saxophone is a superb example of the Buescher True -Tone C melody sax series.
All pads seal perfectly and the sax plays from top to bottom with very little effort. Recently serviced and in great condition.
This saxophone is Low pitch (A=440 Hz) and can easily be played in modern ensembles. It has an amazingly full, rich sound with good intonation.
The silver body has been polished up over the years and is in fantastic original condition. The gold-wash on the inside of the bell is an unusual feature and makes the instrument rather striking in appearance. The bottom bow has a small dent (see photos) but apart from this the general condition is excellent for the age of the instrument. The neck has new cork and is in great shape with no pull-down. Sold in a Reed and Squeak C Melody sax case in Eco-Leather. Aftermarket mouthpiece included.
