Buffet BC20 Clarinet in superb condition.

Dated around the late 1980’s this fabulous instrument has had only minimal professional use over the years serving as a spare instrument for the previous owner. The wood shows no cracks. Silver plated keywork in great condition. Plays effortlessly with a sweet, smooth Buffet sound. Intonation is excellent. Ideal for any advanced or professional player. 65mm barrel and presented in a Reed and Squeak NEW square single case. No original case. All pads seal perfectly. A great value instrument very similar to a Buffet R13.

When the American investor Martin Tolchin bought Buffet Crampon in the mid 1970's he felt that though the R13 sold well in the USA, different models would be more successful in Europe. The S1, Continentale and BC20, which became the RC, were all attempts to make darker, more focused sounding clarinets.
