This Selmer Low C Bass Clarinet is in fantastic playing condition. Silver plated keys and new leather pads. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a top professional orchestral or solo instrument.
This fine professional instrument has been well used over the years but still has plenty of life left. Silver plated key-work responds well under the fingers.
Low C model dated around 1990. A full service has recently been completed. All leather pads replaced, new corks, felts, etc. Now in perfect playing condition. Ergonomic fingering system featuring Low C and D played with the RH thumb. LH D and RH C sharp.
The top joint had been pinned at some stage and the work has been completed to a very high standard. There are no leaks and everything is completely stable. The lower joint on the tenon does show some small surface cracks but again this is of no serious concern. Neither issue affects the playing of the instrument. The instrument plays perfectly. Due to these imperfections Reed and Squeak will offer a full 12 month warranty on this instrument.
No original case. No mouthpiece. Will be sold in a Reed and Squeak lightweight case with backpack straps.
