Selmer- Paris Bass Clarinet
This Selmer Low Eb Bass Clarinet really is in fantastic condition and plays very well indeed. Barely any wear on the keys and only a couple of small surface scratches and some tiny dents on the bell. The neck is in perfect condition. All the silver plating is perfect. The pads seal perfectly and the sliver plated keys responds well under the fingers. The wood is in good condition showing only two very small surface cracks on the lower joint near the tenon. The small cracks appear to have been glued many years ago. The cracks do not affect the playing of the instrument in any way. There are a few surface scratches where the instrument has been placed in a bass clarinet stand.
This instrument once belonged to a professional London player who kept it as a spare instrument, hence the wonderful condition. The instrument plays well in tune with a beautiful mellow tone.
Low Eb model dated around 1977. Recently serviced and now in perfect playing condition.
Reed and Squeak Low Eb Bass case with backpack straps included. No mouthpiece.
