Polished silver plated keys with Superpads. This instrument is an absolute pleasure to play. The warm, rich sound of the superb quality wood really sings out. The wood Buffet used was the highest quality African Grenadilla. Wood of this exceptional quality is rarely seen in modern instruments. The wood shows a repaired crack to the top joint. The crack has been pinned and glued to a very high standard. The repair was made over 10 years ago and remains perfectly stable. The repair has no negative impact on how the clarinet plays. The silver plated keywork is absolutely immaculate with barely a scratch or mark.

Very free blowing with superb intonation and a beautiful legato sound. This clarinet is a truly fabulous instrument.
