Silver plated and in truly wonderful playing condition. All the pads have been replaced by Eddie Ashton, the masterful and experienced instrument technician and inventor of “Superpads”- the pad choice of many leading professional players around the world. This has made a huge improvement. The clarinets now plays effortlessly.

Hand picked from Howarth’s of London by LSO Principal Clarinet, Andrew Marriner for one of his very talented students.

The wood is in excellent order showing no cracks and the polished keywork responds faultlessly. Buffet R13 clarinets are considered a top professional model suitable for any professional or advanced student. Matching serial numbers on both joints. Fantastic intonation, lovely smooth rich sound. Ideal for orchestral, solo and chamber use.

65mm barrel. The thumb rest has been re-positioned but can easily be moved back. Original Buffet black leather case in excellent condition. No mouthpiece.
