Boosey and Hawkes “Imperial” Eb Clarinet

Lovely classic large bore “Imperial” Eb clarinet made by Boosey and Hawkes. This fine instrument has had limited use over the years and appears in really wonderful condition. The silver-plated keys show only a few surface scratches and the wood is in excellent order showing no cracks. This clarinet plays well with a wonderful big, mellow, sonorous sound with excellent intonation. The mixture of cork and leather pads work well and the clarinet plays effortlessly. Fabulous instrument and highly sought-after by discerning orchestral musicians. No mouthpiece. A used mouthpiece can be supplied by separate negotiation.

Shown here in a Buffet hard case but will be supplied in a Reed and Squeak lightweight case.
